McKenzie’s dad is the care taker of over 12,000 acres of land just south of COS. When they asked me if I wanted to come do a “walk-through” of their wedding venue, I was not expecting to explore as much as we did! The property is INCREDIBLE and we drove around for almost 3 hours exploring all the history it has to offer. There’s an old hotel/brothel that was built in the late 1800’s that’s still standing. People had signed their names + dates they stayed on the door frames of the rooms – dating all the way back to the 1920s! Oh my gosh it was just the coolest 3 hours of my life and we got to shoot some cute engagement photos, too!
